Hotel TivaGardens and Salon

Rooms and suites

Sixty-four rooms, all looking onto greenery

From compact courtyard rooms to cottages with private walled gardens, all Hotel Tiva accommodation combines botanical prints, oak and linen, while every window overlooks growing things. Breakfast at the Orangery and garden access from dawn are included in rates.

Accommodation is found in the Manor House, Orangery Wing, and six Gardener's Cottages beside the wisteria walk. From the main lobby, each is accessible stair-free or by lift; twelve are entirely step-free, with walk-in showers and wide doorways. Whatever your choice, expect the same calm: substantial stone walls, weighty curtains, and windows opening to birdsong instead of traffic.

Fern Room with a queen bed, linen headboard and soft green light

Manor House

Fern Room

Among our most sought-after spaces are the smallest rooms. Every Fern Room faces the protected courtyard, where hostas and tree ferns grow under climbing hydrangea, keeping the interior light soft and green throughout the day. With a linen-headboard queen bed, rain shower and reading chair, it is an ideal base for an outdoor-focused weekend.

Freestanding soaking tub beside a potted palm in a Glasshouse Studio

Orangery Wing

Glasshouse Studio

Every studio includes an attached small glasshouse, a curved-pane sunroom planted with orchids, ferns and a young fig tree, watered by our gardeners before you wake. On a winter afternoon, it is the estate's warmest spot and, we think, its best place to read while rain falls. Beside the glass sits a soaking tub, while the bed looks toward the garden.
